Methasoft is a Windows-based application that runs on many Win32-compliant operating systems such as Windows 2000/XP/2003. Methasoft
can accommodate multiple users when installed on a Local Area Network (LAN). Methasoft uses Microsoft’s SQL Server 2000 (MSDE)
relational database for all data storage. This database provides clinics with both high performance and virtually unlimited data
storage expandability.
Methasoft is a client/server-based application. It was designed for a centralized database running on a server. Seperate client
licenses are required for each computer you wish to use with the Methasoft system. Additional computers can be added at a later
date and you can purchase additional Methasoft client licenses as needed.
The Methasoft system is designed to run over your Local Area Network (LAN). For multiple computers to be used with the Methasoft™
system a LAN is required.
Methasoft UK recommends the use of Cat5e Ethernet LAN (or faster) for the Local Area Network, although 802.11 Wireless Networks are supported
by the Methasoft™ system.
