Methasoft™ is a computer based solution for the assessment and treatment of individuals with substance misuse problems.
It fully integrates the assessment and treatment of such individuals from the point of first contact with a treatment
agency through to the supervised consumption of Opiate substitution therapy.

Methasoft™ consists of a suite of software applications from counseling and assessment through to inventory control and
dispensing applications; it will even cope with individual patient accounting for use in private treatment facilities.

Methasoft™ will accurately measure doses of Methadone by the use of an integrated pump and will dispense and label both
supervised and take out doses of medication. The system also automatically keeps records of all medication dispensed for
an individual client, including the capture of a signature into the controlled drug register on collection of individual
doses by a client.

Methasoft™ can include the use of digital photographs to assist in the identification of the client and may also be
integrated with biometric identification by fingerprint.

Methasoft™ improves work flow and helps to manage clinical risk by allowing for definite identification of clients and the
automated recording of all information about dispensed medication improves Clinical Governance compliance.
